Sorry if this has already been discussed, I couldn't find a thread. So I picked up a Victory at Sea today and was wondering if I should pick up some extras to age? I'm sure the coffee mellows, but has anyone aged this beer and what is a good amount of time to age?

I've had one with about a year on it that drank amazingly. I'm not sure how it would be beyond 2 years though.

Yes! Went to a bottleshare last year that amongst other things included most of the Eclipse vintages, and yet a 3 year old VaS was the beer that stood out most to me (in a good way). That alone convinced me to always put away a couple each year.

Thanks! I'm heading back to the bottle shop tomorrow to grab a few more.
