    Hey BeerAdvocates!

A buddy of mine just got engaged and I'd like to get a nice stout that I'll age for a year to have with him after his wedding.

Does anyone have any particular recommendations of a beer that was recently released that'd be worth cellaring for this?

    Thanks!

The Avery beers age particularly well. Also, I'd think about Bourbon County. Anything barrel-aged would be my suggestion. That way it can "cool" off.

Recently released and easily accessible are probably the OP's criteria, so I'd say Bourbon County is out. I don't think there have been any great Avery releases recently either...

Where are based on Jersey? That'll help me provide an answer you can use

Actually ended up getting my hands on two Mexican Cakes. Think I'll drink one fresh with him and one after the wedding.

    Thanks for the help!!

For the record I'm actually in Hazlet and am new to the area. Any recommended beer spots that I should hit up?
