I live right by Bells, and have drank their Oracle a bunch of times, but it always seemed like a beer that could use some aging. Has anyone aged out Oracle, and how does it hold up? Any recommendations?

Drink it within 3 weeks of bottling date or don't buy it please!

I was able to grab a 6-pack this year and I was actually thinking the same thing.

Why do you want to age this beer?
What attributes of this beer lead you to believe it will age well?
What qualities are you hoping to bring out of this beer with age?

I can't even find any around me and you are planning on ruining a pack by cellaring. Sheesh, kids today I tells ya.:stuck_out_tongue:

Since I have access to it fresh at the brewery, I thought I might try it. I have aged out Devil Dancer, and DFH 120 and had pretty good results. They age out a lot of the Hop-punch, and it ends up tasting more like a barley wine. I was curious if anyone else had tried it with oracle before...

There are cases sitting around Kalamazoo... Where do you live? I am sure Bells massive distro will hit your area with it!

I'm in northwest WI. Mars is here already but no sign of Oracle anywhere. Bells seasonal availability is one of the things I miss about living in MI.
