Has anyone tried aging BK's Black Choc Stout? Im thinking itll probably hold up to some mild aging, due to the ABV, and IMHO it might actually improve with the aging. But I was wondering if anyone else had already aged and how it tasted/differed from its fresh flavor.

I've had it fresh and have done a 5 year verticle. This beer is delicious either way. Definitely worth holding a few for a few years.

I really liked it fresh, but felt like something was off about it, cant really put my finger on it. Maybe the fact that it wasn't exactly smooth around the edges, and well the idea came up the other day while comparing notes with a bud of mine. Now that I know that its been aged, and still liked I think Im gonna keep some bottles for next yr. Thanks for the feedback!

The alcohol edge is just a *bit* too strong for my liking fresh.

After even a year, though....like velvet deliciousness....
