I just can't see this beer not getting more sought after/valuable as time goes by, rather than it being the flop all the haters say it is. Obv, some of what's out there is getting drank, and some people(gasp) are actually enjoying it! Once it ages and the hops fade back, I bet the barrel character will be way more apparent, and other subtleties will pronounce themselves better. Also, I'd say unless you know exactly what age will do to this, the jury is still out. By the way, I haven't cracked my bottle yet. I don't know, I'd just like to think that the boys at Founders have a slight inkling of what they're doing at this point, despite the dissonant choir of cat callers.

Though, can't wait to try this with some age on it.

I've got three bottles on the way, trying to decide to try one fresh to at least know the base, but I really don't like what I'm reading. Hoppy beers turn me off quick, and sweet booze isn't high on my list either. I don't want to fight through a whole bottle so i may just age them all, go for a year, two years, and then decide from there.

Bolt Cutter flat out sucks. Contact me privately for my personal info. Next, send them over and I will dispose of them properly.
