I had two of these from 2010 and I still got one unopened, any idea how long it will hold up? What's the oldest night stalker you guys have opened?

I had one that was 3 or 4 years old last summer. Thought I was amazing. I was just starting to cellar myself, so I wouldn't want to being to judge exactly how long it could have gone for but Im sure it would have stood up for another year or two.

Id say, over all, generally speaking, 5 years is limit for 99% of beers. Personally, Id drink as soon as I could.

Last time I opened a 2010 (a few months ago) it was great, and probably optimal for my tastes.

I just got a '12 in a trade. Looking forward to opening it! Glad it holds up because it might be awhile before i get to it.

I had a 2012 bottle about a month ago and it had a really chalky taste to it. I was really excited for it and was kind of let down.

Bad luck in general with nightstalker. Search this forum. Plenty of posts. One recent year I got an infected bottle, and the vintage one I opened wasn't great.

Ive had very good results with GI Big John aging: delicious

Just opened a 2012 and it was tasting great! Definitely better then when I had it fresh.
