Hello, just wanted to see if anyone has aged this ? At 12% I think this would be a great candidate. I'm having one tonight and must say its very smooth and flavorful.

I've aged a bottle for about to years. Trying a fresh one after I realized that it was even smoother on he pellet. I think it could have been aged longer.

I have had it fresh and with 2 1/2 years on it. Fresh was better.

I was going to post the same. I've only tried this fresh/with a year's age, tops. I have a 750 ml that I've decided to hold on to for at least 2 years. Anyone else give it some time?

I did three years on a bottle, I enjoyed it as much as a fresh bottle but obviously for different reasons, the older one had a lot more complex mouthfeel. It's really a beer you can't go wrong no matter the age.

Need some help with bottle dating on this one. Picked up a bottle at a discount with the following date code. Best before: "B93 B94"

I can't figure out what this means. According to the internet, Landtsheer uses a normal date code that is easier to read. Help?

I imagine those are the batch numbers that went into that bottling run. You would probably have to email the brewery (or the importer Belekus) to find out when that bottling run was done.

So, I had emailed the brewery regarding this bottle code before posting on here initially, and I just received a call from the importer. It turns out that Landtsheer stopped putting an actual "Best Before" date on their bottles, but never switched their labels. @AndrewK - You are correct that this was a batch number.

This particular batch dates back nearly three years, so it is a 2012 vintage.
