juat curious if anyone has had experience with aging this beer?

It was pasteurized so it's probably not going to change a whole lot. I have 2 in my basement but I haven't revisited it since it initially came out.

This could have been one of the most disappointing NG beers. IMO a very poor example of an Oud Bruin. It tasted totally oxidized and of cardboard. Maybe it was a bad bottle, but I've had shared experiences with other BAers about this beer.

Are you sure about this? I know cran-bic was pasteurized but I know some of their beers aren't. I am pretty sure I saw some yeast slurry at the bottom last time I opened a bottle, plus Dan did recommend this one for aging.

The Oud Bruin was flash pasteurized and then re-pitched with brewers yeast before bottling. Someone in the Great lakes forum asked Dan Carey about in and posted his answer in the New Glarus Upcoming... thread.
