I have a bottle of Captain Lawrence Nor Easter batch #5 for about six months now. Should I continue to age it or should this be opened ASAP?

Someone opened some from 08 at the last CDC release. It was pretty cheesey, funky, and not very drinkable. Can't really speak on younger batches since that's my only aged Nor Easter experiance.

I have Batch 2 thru 5. I opened one of my Batch 2 at a tasting in January and it was Amazing. Problem with Nor Easter every batch seems to be different. Some have really great bourbon character, and some have just elderberry. Batch 2 and 3 are my favorite.
