Aging Sierra Northern Hemisphere

    MY LOCAL CRAFT SUPPLIER HAS SOME SIERRA NORTHERN HEMISPHERE THAT IS FROM 2013 VINTAGE? ANYBODY KNOW IF THIS BEER AGES WELL?

    but in all seriousness, probably not. It is an IPA afterall. Moreover, it is specifically brewed with an emphasis on freshness, because of the limited time period during which the hops are available.

    That being said, buy a bottle and try it. I bet you can get it for under $5, considering its age.

    The entire point of that beer is to experience the hops scents and flavors while still fresh. That said, I'd imagine it still tastes like a decent beer, just not the same as when it was still very fresh.
