Just got my hands on this for the first time. Does it age well?

Uh, no. Definitely not. IPAs do not age well and I've noticed citra in particular doesn't do well with time. Drink it as soon as you can.

It's gone bad in the time it took you to post the question.

I kid, but if that's a serious question, NO. In my experience it's still very very good within 60 days of bottling, probably even a little longer. But ideally should be enjoyed within 30-45.

Yea about 45-60 days max. But you want to drink it as fresh as possible.

And anyway, once you have the first one, the rest are gonna follow in short order - highly addictive drinking

If you mean, "Is this drinkable at one month?" then I'd say, "Yes." Citra hops lose a touch of their dankness after a few weeks, becoming juicier and (for me) more palatable. They're not a hop that is going to go "bad" right away, and will retain drinkability for a while.

But if you actually mean, "Should I age this?" then the answer is a resounding "No." Dear lord, no.

NO. Citra hops don't handle age well, and a beer like Zombie Dust deserves to be drank within 60 days of its being packaged, lest you want a beer that's a shell of its former self. And what others have said. It's a beast under 7 days from packaging, but man with 21 - 35 days on it. It's amazing.

I'd say this is my experience as well. I have had some for a good month or more and it was still delicious. The other comparable beer in my area Odd Side Citra Pale doesn't hold up at all as long... Gets almost a buttery taste to it unfortunately... But whatever they do to ZD, it holds up really well for a month or 2. That said, I think it's still the best fresh.

    Enjoy!

I personally cellar ALL the beer I buy and keep my fridge stocked with wine coolers and Zima. Beer is for collecting, not drinking..right guys?
