Sister in law is bugging me for where to go - she's there just this weekend.

I searched here a bit and suggested:

    Aiken Brewing Company

    Harvard's Wine and Beverage

    Any others?

    Taste in North Augusta
    Tanked Moose in Aiken
both have good beer selections (beer bars)
    retail:
    North Augusta Wine
and Wine world (also in North Augusta) have good retail selections including decent singles selections. Harvards does not do singles.

Ha, was just down there a few months back because my sister moved there. Ill be back in about a month. When I was there I did go to Aiken brewing in downtown. I enjoyed it but it wasnt amazing. Most of the patrons were drinking BMC. The only decent bottle shop I found was Harvard which had some bells and the usual craft suspects plus some Belgians. It's a very rural BMC heavy town though.

FYI, tanked moose is closed. My bad. And yes, it is a BMC heavy town

Pizza Joint downtown also has a great selection of both tap and bottles. Live music outside also if youre in the mood. There's also the Aiken Hotel just around the corner. not as much selection but s nice place to go .

Actually , Harvard's does do singles. They have a mid sized selection of microbrews available in single bottles. BTW, I HIGHLY recommend Abita Turbo Dog if you havent tried it yet.
