I'm relatively new to home brewing. I've done 6 five gallon batches. Every time I've brewed the airlock bubbled 3 to 4 days then stopped. I brewed a Christmas ale last Saturday and it's still bubbling today a full week later. Is this something I should be concerned about or am I fretting for no reason?

No worries. It is possible that this batch of yeast is behaving differently for any number of innocuous reasons. Also, if this beer was a bit higher OG, it will take longer to complete fermentation.

Start checking the gravity after another week or so, and once it remains at the same number for at least 3 days you are ready to bottle or keg.

Good luck! While you are waiting, you can read up on what you want to try next.

That's what I like to do when I have the time...
