Albert Lea HyVee...?

    So I just took a new job here in Mason City and am working with a guy who lives in Albert Lea and makes the trek daily. He's offered to get me any beer I might want (I'm still paying).

    Has anyone ever been to the Albert Lea HyVee (Regal) Liquor or any other AL liquor stores? Do they get Surly or anything else I can't get in IA?

    AL HyVee doesn't have Surly. I'm not aware of any AL store that carries Surly.

    I was just in there this weekend. It's a pretty small store overall and doesn't hold much of any great interest. Most likely in the Hy-Vee in Austin or Owatonna you would do better, but I guess those may not be one of your options.

    don't expect much. not much coverage for craft beer in that town. possibly worse than when you were in the St. Cloud area.
