    Fellow Canadian Beer Advocates,

I got my hands on two bottles of Dtone Enjoy By 2.14.15 this afternoon in my local store - Spruce Grove, AB. Wow. Truly great beer.

I'm not sure how often I'll be able to get my hands on this but if you are able to pick it up - highly recommended!

I also just found out that Enjoy By 3.14.15 will be available in Alberta and BC. :-)

Gotta love getting a beer 10 days before its "BB" date from a retail perspective, I got a few cases at the Kensington Co-op, come down and drink em up boys and girls cause this stuff turns to poison after 5 weeks!!!

I wondered about that for the stores. Our local store in Spruce Grove just got 2.14.15 on 2.7.15. Is the arrangement with Stone that you HAVE to pull the bottles after the 14th? I'd still buy it after the 14th because I'm guessing it is still likely one of the more fresh IPAs on the shelves in Alberta.

There’s no arrangement that I’m aware of but I wouldn’t be surprised if the reps bought it back if there’s leftovers.

Huh. Interesting. Like I said, it is still likely pretty good after the date!

It would make sense as they have their "Report Expired Beer" page which they take seriously.

Grabbed 2 bottles today. For $6.50 a piece. That's right, cheaper than the US!!!

Just grabbed a bottle of the 2.14.15 today at Willow Park where they have a fair bit of them it seems. $10 something a bottle. Guess I'll be enjoying this one tonight!

In BC? I doubt it. Doesn't BC stand for Bring Cash?

I would usually agree with you, but ya, one local shop decided to be crazy due to the beer 'expiring' the day after they got it. Stone distro here is a joke so far. Entire stack of regular IPA at multiple stores is over a month past it's clearly visible enjoy by date. I mean, it's $20+ a 6 pack here. It better be fresh at that exorbitant price.

Yeah - we pay a heavy price for some of the American craft beers.

Blame the American dollar, transport costs and the drop in the price of oil.

I have not seen the Enjoy By 3.14.15 in Alberta - though it was supposed to be available here? Was it only available regionally?

I did, however, see some 2.14.15 at a store today. If the price had been reduced I'd have bought some because I suspect it is still good.

At Wine and Beyond in Edmonton last Friday I found Lagunitas and Stone beers over a year old. At another store today I founf Lagunitas IPA and Nihjtime Ale over a year old. It makes 4 months look pretty good.

Wine and Beyond and their parent chain are a graveyard for beer not the best place to shop. That chain the beer is more expensive than some of the other chains and independents.
