Albertson's stepping up their Beer Game.

    Especially here in South Orange County. Picked up a four pack of Double Jack bottled 12/17/12, and a bomber of Knuckle Sandwhich (!!!) today, and there still was a bunch of good stuff I'd want (Brux, Full line up of Ballast and Coronado). Anyways, I'm always stoked when it's easier to get good beer. Cheers.

    Unless you've had it and like it, skip the Brux. You'll thank me, it's on my shortlist for underwhelming beers of the year 2012. Especially at $15 a pop - go straight for a Fantome.

    Do you know if other Albertsons stores also have the good selection, or just yours?

    This one in particular is great, South Laguna right off PCH. Dana Point Albertson's isn't as good, but still has a "Craft beer" case with a good mix. But the Laguna spot is amazing for a chain store. Also bonus points for being next to La Sirena which has the best taplist in Laguna Beach.

    Albertson hit reboot and actually put a lot of money in to refinishing many of their stores. I noticed that their alcohol game got stepped up big time with this. Not complaining one bit, should be interesting to see if any other major stores follow along. They are attempting to be more bristol farms looking on the surface... and apparently carry some great beer also! Woo Hoo! Which South OC location if you don't mind me asking?

    Ralph's and Gelson's both seemed to have also improved their craft beer offerings over the past 6-12 months

    Scored two bottles of barrel aged Santas little helper for 6.69 a piece in september at this albertsons. always visit it after going to La Sirena .
