Unfortunately, none of the distributors want the single cans. We played around with getting rid of all 22 ozers but they just don't want the single 16 ozers. The cans always get put in awkward spots in the independent stores and they end up being museum pieces. I would certainly prefer it as a consumer, but unfortunately it doesn't work at the retail level.

Their Facebook page alludes to it being bourbon barrel aged. Hopefully no changes to anything but format.

Drinking a Ryeot IPA as I type. If you didn't rename it and share that it has a bigger, slightly different hop bill I probably would have been none the wiser about the change.

Tried a Bourbon & Rye Barrel Aged Dubbel from Steel Bender last night. That beer was really enjoyable. The old grisette I tried drinking before it was a drainpour though. Probably was decent when fresh, but at 5+ months old I found it to be quite faded. I am considering grabbing another bottle of the BA Dubbel though.

Still loving that Shwarzbier from Bosque, probably my favorite new beer I have tried from them in a couple years.

Bow & Arrow has a fantastic Baltic Porter on tap right now. They also have Cosmic Arrow back on tap, which I didn't catch until I was done for the night....I assumed it was the Cosmic Arrow with Peaches, but fortunately that had kicked and the original is back. Unfortunately, no bottles of it this time (though they do have bottles of a sour golden ale with brett, Dream Mesa).

4 packs of Marbles Imperial Stout out and tasting great. Love the 4 pack and 12 ounce format. Curious why they are being all stealth with marketing it as Bourbon Barrel Aged Beer; you would think that would be front and center, but the only direct comments of it being barrel aged is that its part of the "From The Wood" series and that is almost lost in small print, hidden deep in the describing paragraph.

Not Albuquerque, but New Mexico related. Hit up Tumbleroot up in Santa Fe. Beer wasn't bad and had some solid potential. I really liked the lineup of beers/styles they were offering. At this point, when in Santa Fe I would lean towards Santa Fe Brewing, 2nd Street and Rowley as my stops, but these guys certainly seemed to offer the potential to be able to get into that mix.
