I've only ever been to Ginger Man once. Will this be a nightmare if I show up right when they open?

My guess is you'll be fine. Focal Banger in NYC in 2016 at opening time - can't imagine there'll be issues

Ah I was wondering why I saw it around.

Is this batch as boozy as the last? Tasted better and mellowed out after a week or so.

how much are these running

 

I've always found that Heady and Focal start with a strange quality when first opened cold. I wouldn't specifically classify it as boozy, maybe a mix of malty and boozy. I find the cold temps inhibit the explosiveness of the hops. Within a few mins though they open up to some of the best beers in the world.

 

I'd guess $10/can. Really dont know though.

 

I think I saw one instagram post somewhere saying $9

 

That's really not a bad price considering I've seen bars in NYC charging $10 for OH, Finback, etc.

 

Had my first (and second) Focal Banger tonight. Really loved it - a great balance of powerful hops with an almost English mild maltiness. They were $9 something a can at Top Hops. Would love to have these at home.
