I don't think the "highly addictive" part has much to do with it. Just sounds like entitled mouthbreathers

Looking forward to the next Alchemist truck sale is what keeps me going! For the most part, these events have been a blast and they've all been run beautifully. I would seriously hate to see them abandon this format. How do people not understand when they're explicitly told "no drinking in line"?

Yes I drink at 7:30am. I work 7pm-7am and after a stressful shift its nice to crack a Heady to fall asleep to. No I don't do it everyday, no I dont need to drink to fall asleep etc etc. but typically people drinking at 7am either just got off work, or have a problem with alcohol.

I thought this would be the typical answer to a question I asked from genuine curiosity. I figure most people would say the same thing you just did. Thanks for answering.

    From the Alchemist blog:

"During the past year, we have sold our special release beers at ‘pop-up’ truck sales. This was a great way to sell our limited batch beers to our fans without having federal label approval, which is needed for distribution to our retailers. These sales have been a lot of fun for us. They have helped us stay connected to our loyal customers since the closing of our pub and, subsequently, our retail shop. However, as we experienced with our tasting room, each sale has become busier and busier. Our last truck sale in December was a great deal of fun and an overall success, but for the first time, several of our customers walked away without beer. Moreover, our neighbors in the village of Waterbury were not happy with the increasing turnout we were experiencing at these sales. It was requested that we discontinue sales at this location due to parking and crowd issues. In light of these changes, we are switching things up.

Our release party for the upcoming sale of Focal Banger and Petit Mutant will take place on Saturday, March 21 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the ECHO Center on [IMG]Burlington’s Waterfront.

Ticket prices are $125—inclusive of tax and service.
    This price includes:

    1) 1 Mixed Case: 4 four-packs of Focal Banger, 2 four-packs of Petit Mutant

    2) 1 Commemorative glass

    3) 2 Pints of draft Focal Banger

    4) Tasty snacks and lite bites

    5) Live music"

There's more on the blog, but that's the gist of it. 300 tickets were available, all sold out now obviously.
