If all of these beers were brewed by the same contract brewer it's possible that many of them could have that same basic taste that you're experiencing. Many breweries use the same 'house' yeast' for their beers which some drinkers say they can create a similarity in each style produced by that brewery. However, there is such a variety of styles in this box that there has to be some unique tastes.

You mention ales and lagers which cannot be the same 'house yeast' because they are two separate yeast families. Lagers produce a dryer finish, whereas the ale yeast creates a sweeter/flowery finish. You mention that there is a hefe in the collection. A hefe yeast should produce banana and/or clove notes in the taste, so that one has to be different. All of these beers would use barley in the grain bill, but that hefe would have a fair amount of wheat in addition to the barley, so again, that one shouldn't taste like any of the others.

But it is possible that you are detecting a common similarity in a group of these beers.
