Ale (beer engine) & Maxi Cool?

    Just in the process of putting together a basic home beer setup.
    Going for 2 ale pump engines. Most likely beer in a bag.
    As for cooling. I have searched and guess that answers my question.
    Could I run the ale from the bag through a maxi cool (or similar) up to the engine?

    Welcome @Mr-JNC
    Other than what I've looked up after reading your post, I'm clueless about beer engines. Hopefully someone with experience and/or knowledge will chime in with some advice.

    There is probably a reason I can’t find examples of it being done before. Seems the usual setup is the beer/ale in a fridge or a keg cooler setup.
