    I don't know where else to put this but I visited the new AleSmith facility over the weekend and I just can't get over at how massive it is. It's HUUUUUUUUGE! So much room for activities!

    I have been blaming it for a month so far. Some of the words it assumes I am typing when I use swype is hilarious. A few words I actually had to look up because I hadn't a clue what they even meant. I also found out that my phone was racist for a bit. A few of those txt messages that would have went to the better half could have ended up with me on the couch with a recent knife wound if I didn't check ahead of time.

    100ppl did. A few of my friends did. I could not justify the price for the early bird. Also the early day pickup basically had me decline it outright. I really like the release parties and feel if I got to grab bottles a day early I might not attend the party.

    I did however, purchase the brick so I can have my name on even more drinking establishments in san diego.

    Yeah, I sprung for it. I could argue both sides of whether it's worth it or not, but I'm going to buy every Alesmith special release, may as well make it a little easier for myself.

    They were gone by 9 AM, so they were on sale for several hours, but you definitely needed to hit it fairly early.

    That is assuming they continue that this year. With this perk they may have dropped it. Guess I will find out end of this month for Hammerhead. But hey, even without that early presale I still beat almost all of you all the time on BPT releases. So yeah.... although Speedway still doesn't run through my veins.

    You dont have to pick them up a day early. It's just there as an option. I'd still go to the release party.

    As I'm tied to going to SD at least once a quarter, I opted for the early buy option. Hopefully they'll allow a proxy, or hold the bottles for an amount of time for me to get down there and pick them up in person.

    Either way, I donated to a museum dedicated to a great person and baseball player..

    For what? They said in their last newsletter that Port Wee Heavy and Hammerhead Speedway would go on sale on 02/29.

    I awoke to an email confirmation thanking me for my $100 donation. Turns out the guy I trustee for donated in my name with all my info to receive the early access perk. No complaints here.
