Why? You know that wasn't required, just that you *could* get it a day early if you wanted, right?

Interesting - I was reading a post in another beer forum from a guy that wasn't sure if he was going to get it because he didn't know if they'd take proxies. He ended up getting it anyway and putting in the name of a guy that had proxied for him in the past. LOL

Yup, but somehow that made it a deterrent in my head. I don't claim to know how my mind works, just that at times it does work (albeit in mysterious ways).

I got in for the Tony Gwynn pre-sale donation perk. Now I just need to find a proxy...

Assuming they allow them on all releases. But it shouldn't be difficult to find one.

They'll do an email blast with all pertinent info when it's ready, there's no hidden benefit to sleuthing it out early.

I figure proxies might be allowed but that information will likely come with the eventbrite event page coming up. I bet it was being worked on still as the craftbeer.com article went out. Never seen Alesmith use eventbrite before to maybe their pre-made pages and proficiency with BPT didn't carry over perfectly with eventbrite.

Interesting...makes me glad I opted to grab the priority purchase perk on the Gwynn Museum campaign. Hopefully they've done their due diligence with Eventbrite, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some issues on their first EB sale.

I'm surprised that Hammerhead will see distro. How will I ever land a can of Heady Topper now?!

I saw that and wondered if this maybe just for kegs? Because they usually don't distro any special releases

I read that too, I can't tell if that was a copy/paste error from regular speedway or if that is legit. I mean viet and hawaiian saw a lot of kegs around the state but bottles never made it to distro.

    I guess time will tell.

I don't see why you couldn't. Name can be on at most 2 orders.
