Apologize if it's been posted before and, if so, mods can delete. I noticed some Alesmith beers (Speedway Stout and Grand Cru) in my local establishment today. While I've been consuming Alesmith for years, it's great to see them finally reach CT. Of course I asked if they ordered their IPA, to which they said: Yes. Cheers.
Picked up the IPA and Speedway stout at Kays Wine and Spirits if anybody is looking in hartford county. They have around 8 different Alesmith brews available which looks like the whole lineup... Glad these guys are in CT, they def make some great beer!
Wow nice. Had to travel to NY before to get them. First Bruery and now Alesmith. Like what I am seeing.
You guys gettin' fresh ones down there? I have long wanted to try their IPA, but I have never, even once in my life, seen fresh bottles of Alesmith's IPA or pale ale in MA.
I love Alesmith. They've had a pretty strong presence in the Massachusetts market for a while, so, I'll echo someone else here and mention it's hard to find an IPA of theirs fresh. Better just to go to California if you're looking for their hoppy stuff (obviously way easier said than done). To me, their best stuff is their speedway stout and old numbskull. Pricey though.
I have seen Alesmith in CT. A bottle shop in Westport "showed" me their bottles. I guess they are keeping them for special customers. I have to go back and pick up a few.
???? I find that at $13 -750ml isnt that bad for a good stout/wee/barleywine. Much better pricing than some of the other options that are in CT
Oh man! I wish. More like $17-18 at my local. I fear I'd drink a lot more numbskull and speedway if I could shave $4-5 off my purchase!
