Has anyone seen AleSmith in stores in MN yet? I found some in WI a couple weeks ago. Was told they just started getting it. I assume it will be here soon if it isn't ready, but I just haven't seen it yet so far.

I'm pretty sure it is Wisconsin only. At least that's where I've been going to get my Speedway Stout fix. I hope I'm wrong though.

I don't think Alesmith distributes to Minnesota.

Some years back Alesmith had reached an agreement to distribute to the Minnesota market, but that arrangement did not pan-out at the time.

But with that in mind (and as they are presently distributed in Wisconsin) I would have to imagine that they've given the Minnesota market due consideration.

five years ago, alesmith was at the top of my list. now, with more local options, and considering the format, and freshness, it doesn't excite me all that much.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but the beer guy at a local store said Oskar Blues is in the distributor warehouse now and should be in stores in January sometime. Hadn't heard a single peep about them coming here before.

There have been rumors stretching into the beginning of this year. Things started to ramp up around the same time the green flash rumors came about. Green Flash showed up, Oskar didn't.

Oskar Blues will be in MN stores in Jan 2014. Word on the street is they will be distributed by the Original Gravity network (Bud).

Then it's a safe bet the west metro will get very little of anything in high demand. Yeah, I'm just bitter... But honestly great to know we can pick up the occasional Ten Fidy locally!

Just be happy Alesmith and Oscar Blues (Ten Fiddy) are as close as WI. We in the MPLS/STP area are lucky to have both markets so close.

Yah I guess it matters where you live. I'm only 10 - 15 minutes from Hudson.

Oh I'm glad that we have the border option, and that WI gets a fairly large selection of beer that we don't, but I'd love to have the Hudson options at my local liquor store.

I do like alesmith alot, although man it's pricey and bombers only. Speedway stout is a pretty awesome stout, It will be nice to not have to drive to Wisc to pick one up for special occasions.

Alesmith is awesome. Went to the old brewery when I was in SD and it was by far my favorite one I visited during my trip. BA speedway stout was killer. They sold their old brewery to Mikkeller and are opening up a larger place comparable to Surly.

"Old brewery"?! I thought that those guys would never move. In all the years that I went there, all that they did was move the tasting area from the back dock to by the front door. All despite their growth.
