I was at the Younger tapping at Falling Rock on Wednesday and noticed that they had Alesmith's Numbskull on tap for Barleywine Month. Then and there it dawn on me that I completely forgot Alesmith distributes to CO. I mean I guess I see bottles in the shops but that was probably the first time I've seen them on tap, and they've been here for awhile. Anyone know why we hardly see any kegs from Alesmith in CO? Are they still testing the waters before taking a deep dive? I do think it would help with their exposure here to see them on tap every once and awhile.
Huh, now that you mention it, I don't recall seeing it on tap either... But I do know that if I ever found their IPA on tap, I would drink it by the gallons.
Ditto. I don't believe I've ever seen draft Alesmith anywhere in CO. The idea of having a pint of draft Speedway with dinner sounds good to me.
They had Alesmith IPA on tap at Grind in Glenwood Springs last weekend... not sure if that helps, but just for reference! As long as it's fresh, half the time the bottles are 3-4 months old before they even get to the shops here
Numbskull was also on at Freshcraft last night. But I don't recall seeing the other Alesmith beers on tap that I regularly see in bottles around town.
