    We are finally happy to announce the SoCal release dates for Sublime Mexican Lager. Online bottle sale of the 40oz. bottles will be held July 8. Pickup of these bottles will begin the day of the official release party, July 15, here at the brewery. No shipments. Launch party will feature keg-tapping ceremony, poster signing by drummer Bud Gaugh, food trucks, live graffiti artists and music from DJ PRODUCT 1969c, who worked on Sublime’s album Robbin’ The Hood.     interesting. I wonder why they didn't just do a brewery release only if it's so limited?
    I suppose it's easier this way.

    Since it's only $10 and I'll be in SD that window pickup, might as well as grab 1

    Damned if they do, damned if they don't. I bet the backlash from beer nerds (arguably becoming the worst group ever....) if it was brewery-only would have been a nightmare.

    The velvet is going to be interesting. I picked up the 40 and trying to figure out if I go to the pick-up on Saturday, or go up to Anaheim for Bottle Logic's FO. Both going to be shit-shows, so not sure. Thoughts?
