    I believe so, but I haven't been in a couple days so cannot confirm.

    What is confirmed is that the first bottle will be BA JBM Speedway, with regular JBM speedway coming out later as the usual public sale. BAJBM will only go to members.

    OK, can confirm memberships are still for sale in person. A buddy just got one not all that long ago.

    You can still sign up, no? If non-local I believe I read that they'd open this membership up online after the initial in-person offering, and they allow a proxy.

    With the updates to the bottles included I don't see it as vastly overpriced anymore. You're paying a bit over the price of the bottles which isn't terrible.

    Yeah, and I know the guy in charge of the membership Mr. Izor (among his other responsibilities) is still trying to get another exclusive bottle added to make it seem like a better value. Just not sure he can get a guarantee and pull it off before memberships close.

    I do believe the first little member-only event is going to be the introduction to CheeseSmith finally being in production. So beer, neck-beards, and cheese......#fuckyeah

    If you mean the cellar sale that was done when you purchased the order of the anvil membership, it was IP only and stated as such.

    I reread and it definitely was not clear, so I definitely understand the confusion. The '07 BASS was slightly oxidized. I'll see if my '09 BASS is good when I open it up on friday.

    Yeah. It looks like they opened this up for shipping / proxies after the fact and didn’t update the information online. I’m still excited to join though. I haven’t done may beer clubs over the years but IMHO the quality of Alesmith’s barrel program justifies the high price point.

    Of all my trips to A&S this past year, my most memorable draft pours were Port Wee Heavy, Rumskull, and Boxcar the day it was released. Single barrel BASS was so damned good last time I was in, too.
