AleSmith Rye BA Old Numbskull & BA Grand Cru Release

Excited about the Old Numbskull.

 

I thought Rye was the best Bois variation this year. Really looking forward to the Numbskull variant.

 

I don't see either of these selling out right away. They aren't as sexy as the Speedway varients.

 

This is a rerelease of the Grand Cru, as it didn't sell that well the first time. Most of the people I know that tried it were surprised (in a good way), and will probably be all over this sale.

 

I sure hope a large batch of Rumskull is in the works (or at least in planning) – that was stellar. Looking forward to this variant too.

 

Idk if I just missed it but what are the prices?

 

They don’t post the prices until they’re on BPT, but the last batch of BA Old Numbskull was $27 (before tax + service fee), so I’d expect it to be at least that much.

I've always thought it was odd that the AleSmith emails list every detail about the release except the price. I guess if you have to ask, it's too much.

 

IN! Been really impressed by AleSmith's BA offerings this year. Kopi Luwak has been my favorite so far, but the rye numbskull sounds awesome.

 

So excited for the Rye Numbskull. I've had lots of BA Numbskull and brought a bottle to a wedding over the weekend, and everyone loved it. I'm kinda hoping it doesn't sell out so that there's a chance of getting extra bottles later at the tasting room just like the previous BA variant.

I wonder how much Rye Numbskull they made.

 

Do they ever release info about bottle counts or how many are available for the online sale? I'm wondering because BA Kopi sold out in under ten minutes but bottles have been available during the library sale.

 

They don't release it, but if you ask nicely on their Facebook page they often will answer. I know when I ask directly, I either get an answer or get told to go drink a Keystone.

The BA Kopi that has been available in the Library Sale is in *very* limited quantities, and likely is the combination of what was not picked up by the deadline and the few extras they had in case of accidents, problems, etc.
