How does this do with age on it?

I've had fresh, a year, and three years. All three gave me an erection.

It ages well, but loses a lot of sharp coffee flavors (which is to be expected.) Since I think the coffee flavor is a little hot to begin with, a couple years of age really helps the beer out.

At 2 years, it was one of the best beers I've ever had. Fresh, it was fine, but underwhelming.

After a year or so, quite tasty IMO...

Yep, there's a rawness at first cause there's so much happening. At two the integration is bang on the money.

Agreed, this is a decadent beer with 2-3 yrs on it. I actually liked it better than the BA version and much easier to get!

I have had it with age and I prefer it much more fresh.

Since it is so easy to get, just buy a case and open one every few months.

Had a fresh one over thanksgiving. I might go pick up another bottle to cellar, was good fresh but a little age could do wonders.

I am in Mo, but I picked up a bottle of this, Ten Fidy, Doggie Claws, Saison Rue, Burton Baton, and 90 minute last night on lets pour. All of which are going in the cellar except for 90 minute. I expect great things out of all of them, but I must say I am most interested to see where the Saison goes

One of my favorite stouts, would love to try and age one, but thus far temptation has won every time.

I've had it fresh, but hadn't cellared any of it yet. I'll have to snag a few and give it a shot.

I got two this past spring. March I think. I had one soon after I got it and thought it was good. I had the other last night and loved it!
