Anyone have any idea when or if they are going to release any barrel aged stuff this year... I read that may is usually speedway BA... Any advice, idea, hopes?
They seem pretty horrible at keeping the public updated with when that stuff is happening, it seems like the only way to find out is facebook. That said, i'd also like to know if/when the BA releases are.
BA Speedway is probably not coming anytime soon, since they haven’t hinted at it in their newsletter nor Facebook nor Twitter. The Brewer’s Blend was quite nice though, and hell I wouldn’t mind if they put that in bottles.
It's usually around June, no? Maybe they'll revert to draft only after the cluster that was last year.
Well, they won't be releasing it during NHC since NHC is in Seattle. They release their BA beer's when they're ready. And they've been busy with massive upgrades and expansions at the brewery. So...who knows?
They will be releasing BA Speedway (brewer's blend) this year. Not sure on exact date/time, but it will happen. I don't think they are horrible about updating the public. They send out regular newsletters. Alesmith is trying to figure out the best way to conduct the release, so they in fact don't have another clusterfuck. And as MacNCheese said, they've also been busy with massive upgrades. Sign up for their newsletter and check their facebook page. You'll be in the loop on when it's released. Cheers! I am not shocked about not hearing details on BA speedway yet, but I am shocked that within the past year (since BASS) there has not been any other BA bottles sold... unless I dropped the ball and missed something.
Last I heard, they have a bunch of it ready to go. Something about the lack of bottles / labels / etc.
