it was retired for a while. there was a shortage of the Rapadou sugar so Geoff didn't brew the beer. it's excellent stuff.

 

Where did you see a bottle?

 

It's back, haven't seen it in stores in SEVA yet though.

 

Guess RVA won't be getting anything (maybe one case). Not sure why the distribution is so tilted...

I know, I know.....but love Bitter Valentine and Cafe Royale...Hoplar is nothing compared to the BV

They said BV was being bottled next week too - gonna be a nice start to the summer!

 

different distributors. RVAs allocation is split with NoVA (Hop&Wine). SeVA is a different dist...

 

Yeah I was wondering about this beer after they posted on Twitter it was on draft at the brewery, glad they bottled it.

 

Yeah, it's just disappointing when I have a friend in Norfolk and they have 10 cases of CR and BV and we have 1. Can't get enough of either.

Theres cases upon cases at TW VB

and WF VB has cafe, cracker..if you live near there

 

See - the VB area gets a ton more then RIC. I had one the other night and it was pretty damn tasty but none of the TW carry them here. I would love to get some more Cafe, we have been out for a while up here. Only a case or two came in to each TW and Once Upon a Vine. You wouldn't happen to be coming around anytime soon would you? Also, if you have the chance, the Olde Hickory IRS is fantastic - had a co-worker visit Raliegh and grabbed me a pair.

Hells yeah - hope to have some coming in soon, another trade in progress lol. If I had some more Cafe's it would make things easier....

 

How much is the porter? I'd be willing to do a trade.
