I just traded for one of these and I was wondering if anyone knows how to date these? Or if there is even a way to date them? Any info could/would be helpful

    Cheers

I just opened the last one from the cellar. I can't date it for you, other than it was oxidized. When Palm purchased Rodenbach they stopped making Alexander, that might help you establish the minimum age.

I donated an old Rodenbach a few years ago to an old beer tasting being held at the Brugge beer fest. It had a painted label, and a date code on the bottom or side . I believe it said 1965 or 65 and If I remember right I was told it was brewed in 1964. I'm not sure if they still use that kind of coding, but it's worth a look.

This one has the while paper wrapping with the silk screened label on the bottle. It's a 33cl so I think it's probably 86 or before. I believe the last 10-12 years they went to the 25cl bottles with the label on it but I could be wrong
