    Hi all!

    I am flying into DC/Alexandria for work on Thursday - Saturday (staying in Old Town). Looking for recommendations on bars/pubs/restaurants and bottles shops in the area that are worth checking out.

    Looks like I am already planning to hit Churchkey for some beers.

    Any notable releases out that I should be looking for?

    Hit up Whole Foods P Street right near Churchkey. They have a good bottle selection.

    For bottle shops, There is a Whole Foods in Old Town as well as Total Wine Alexandria. If you are looking for a brewery, Port City is close to Old Town. They sell most of their beers to go in six packs and growlers.

    Hit up Pizzeria Paradisio, small bar area but great selection and pretty good pizza too
