The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild is excited and proud to bring back their fast-growing and hugely popular Summer beer festival! The Fourth Annual All Pints North Summer Brew Fest will celebrate beer brewed in Minnesota by breweries and brew pubs in the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild, plus select national craft brands. Join us by the lake to meet the brewers and enjoy unlimited craft beer samples, local food vendors, beer-centered activities and educational components, live music and much more!

The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 2000. Our goals are to promote Minnesota breweries, create an open line of communication between brewers, and connect our beer to the consumer. The Guild promotes Minnesota’s booming brewing industry by sponsoring festivals and special events, including Autumn Brew Review and Winterfest, promoting special events like 10,000 Minutes of Minnesota Craft Beer and the State Fair’s Land of 10,000 Beers exhibit and beer hall, and ultimately showcasing the talent of Minnesota’s craft brewers.

I really enjoyed APN last year, it was blazing hot though with not alot of breeze coming off the lake so i had to take a break halfway through. Best by far was Bent Paddle Cold Press with Madagascar Vanilla, I think i went back 3 or 4 times.

APN is my favorite of the MN Craft Brewers festivals! (Unless it rains, then it would really suck.)

I have been the last two years, and it really is probably the best balance of really good beers, accessibility, enjoyment and location of any beer fest I have been to (I have been to many, many fests from tiny to huge). From purely a beer-quality perspective I would say it's just slightly below Winterfest or ABR for rare-ish beers, but pretty close.

The 2015 program is available for download at http://www.mncraftbrew.org/events/allpintsnorth.

    Some standouts to me:

Schell’s: Too Many Peaches, Apparent Horizon
Bemidji: Flanders Sour Red (Blackberries and Raspberries), 2014 Flanders Sour Red, Berliner Weiss
Castle Danger: Sommelier George Hunter Stout, Jungle Juice Ode IPA
Fargo: Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout with Lactobacillus
    Fitger’s: Framboise, The Mayor
    Indeed: Derailed Imperial Whiskey Stout
    Insight: Door County Cherry Saison
    Lift Bridge: Citra Kellerbier
    Sisyphus: BA Wild Brown
Surly: Whiskey Barrel Aged Pentagram, Nein
The Herkimer: Port Barrel Aged Imperial Red Saison with Koji
Town Hall: Barnyard Rustic, Saison Grand, Chocolate 3 Hour Tour

I’m also looking forward to the Eastlake v. Voyageur Devil’s Kettle IPA showdown.

I'd say this is a good description. I don't usually care too much about the whales at the Guild fests anyway, but I think there are probably more breweries here than at ABR who don't bring much of anything special. That said, there are still a lot of good beers to try and plenty of rare stuff. It feels like a good amount of people for the size of the space, and if the weather's nice, you really can't beat the location.
