    A couple day distirbution agreement or maybe it is for 24 hours and it starts tonight? I am not totally sure how it works or the limits, but I know it has been done before at other fests and those breweries are not distributing here.

    Talked to the Cigar City rep was there & there are no plans to distribute to MN right, he made it sound like they didn't have the beer to expand at the moment (I didn't ask why the hell they were at APN then, since there were a lot of people talking at him). I was told they had a "two day license" to operate in MN, but that was second-hand info. Whatever. My pours of Jai Alai & Huna were highlights of my day; I love both of those beers.

    A few things that stuck out: Huna was killer of course, Birch's Blood Orange Berlinner was excellent, & Talking Waters Bezerker RIS was fantastic, from a brewery I'd never heard of before. Our first APN & we'll likely be back next year.

    As the CFO of Cigar City, he was invited to speak during one of the business tracks at the conference on Thursday. Thus, he was also given a temporary license and booth at the fest.

    You mean to tell me that one off my wants (Huna) was being poured freely in my home state but I sold my tickets to said festival? Damnit!!! :rage::sob:

    Junkyard Bordeaux Barrel Aged Gose was my favorite by far. Dem barrel notes were amazing!

    Fair State won best brewery and best beer (Curation - sour on plums). It was great to finally try Huna, but odd that he only had one tap so everyone had to drink all the Jai Alai first before it was put on. On the other hand, it probably spread the shitshow out a bit. My drunkenly scribbled notes reveal I enjoyed Disgruntled Double Stuffed, Barrel Theory MPG, Surly BA Ten, Forager Super Weiss on freshly crushed berries, Fargo None More Black, Bells Black Note, and Wild Mind North Shore Kriek. Excited to see Schells brewed Framboise again. Good time had overall. Even watched the music for once; Viva Knievel was killing it!

    They played all those same songs last year..... I really don't care though:sunglasses:

    I had 'Sledgehammer' stuck in my head the entire time after they played it.

    Also, were there way more people out dancing than there were last year? Seemed like it......?
