Coming to Vegas end of January for a couple of nights, first night for concert. Second day we’re planning to hit up the Arts District. Good buddy who lives in Vegas told me to check out the latest in that area as some places have closed up or shut down due to rising crime. Any news? I’d like to stop in Silver Stamp for sure.
Welcome to another year of discussing all of the beer options throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Our discussions in this thread cover people visiting for vacation or work, and also for Las Vegas Locals. There were a lot of good discussions and recommendations in prior threads, so I linked them below for further research. Link to our 2025 Discussion Thread Link to our 2024 Discussion Thread Link to our 2023 Discussion Thread While I live in Chicago @ChicagoJ on BA, I spend 2-5 weeks each year in Las Vegas, and love to hit various craft beer breweries, bars and stores each visit. Sorry I was a day late opening the thread with all the links, which folks can find below: https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/las-vegas-beer-thread-2026.682363/ In terms of latest news, Recently Beer Zombies in Downtown Summerlin Closed (their Dean Martin location closed as well) but they are planning on reopening their OG spot on Warm Springs Road in the SW portion of the Valley. HUDL closed their taproom, but Neon Desert brewing will continue contract brewing their core beers for now. A few of the places I visited that I went to for the first time during my month in June/July that I recommend include Southwest 595 Craft & Kitchen Near Aces & Ales Tenaya Mission Control Southwest Taps & Barrels Brewhouse (A self pour place, but a very good tap list when I visited) All three had weekday Happy Hour Specials. Below is link a good resource for monthly Las Vegas Beer News written by longtime Las Vegas Beer Writer Bob Barnes. https://www.adcook.com/posts-and-updates/post-contributors/bob-barnes/
A good number of our thread visitors are looking for something to do on or close to the Strip. I'm not really excited spending much time on the Strip these days.I recommend Front Yard @ Ellis Island Casino a block east of the Strip on Flamingo, and a few more blocks down Pub 365 inside the Tuscany Casino for the best beer experience, and also to not get gouged with a limited beer menu. I spend most of my time these days at the Arts District. The Silver Stamp and Hop Nuts are my two favorite spots. with Able Baker. Craft Haus, Hard Hat Lounge my next three to visit. This area is the best to go when you want to hit many places within walking distance. If you have time and transportation to explore the Valley, my favorite suggestions would be Khoury's Bottle Shop, the best in Vegas and they also have draft beer. My four favorite Valley Breweries beyond the ones noted above are North 5th Brewing (North Las Vegas), Big Dog's near Sante Fe Casino, Beer Zombies / Tenaya Creek (about a mile NW of Fremont Street) and Neon Desert Brewing in the Henderson Autoplex. My three favorite beer bars beyond The Silver Stamp are 595 Craft Kitchen, Mission Control and Aces & Ales Tenaya, the latter two near each other near Sante Fe Casino NW of the city. I should be down there in the middle of next month and will report on anything new I encounter. I'll be on the main Strip area (Tropicana and LV Blvd.) for 2 days and will be hitting the Arts District on day 3.
Just in case you missed it, Hudl closed middle of December. They were hit or miss for me the two times I was there.
Same. Maybe not even hit/miss, just lost amongst places I liked more. The vanilla oak was the only unique item I had from them and it wasn't particularly notable. There's now a Bad Beat location a block from that area. It looks like the ceviche/seafood hybrid brewery, Cin-Cin has been rebranded to Modest and will be re-opening this weekend. Their website looks pretty sparse, but I guess they will have a Kolsch and a full food menu. Hopefully they aren't just phoning things in.
Need some recs for dinner this Wednesday night around The Venetian. We have a concert and may be cutting it short on arrival. Not looking for high end restaurant. Cheap good quality food with a decent enough draft list would be nice. It’s been since 2021 since last visit on the strip. We’ll be there one more night and we’ll be hanging out in the Arts District
That looks like a good option. Would throw in Grand Lux for decent food / price onsite, and they have a happy hour menu as well at the bar. https://www.venetianlasvegas.com/co...s/grand-lux-cafe-venetian/happy-hour-menu.pdf Not sure if time permits, but Ellis Island is a good near strip spot if you have the time (Village Pub or Front Yard, some like the BBQ place). Peppermill is a favorite as well, though wouldn’t call it “cheap”, but it’s fairly priced portions and quality. Pub 365 at Tuscany also has a happy hour, though never ate there yet.
Black Tap's a good spot. I end up at the Venetian pretty frequently and their taps (and food) are solid, although not cheap. Yardbird would be another option that doesn't have as many taps, but the ones they have tend to be local/good. If you don't mind a 5-minute beer detour, Casino Royale is next door. They have good taps and prices that are among the lowest on the entire strip. Their Atomic Duck pours are literally the cheapest anywhere - even vs. going to Able Baker.
Heading back to Vegas Saturday. It looks like Beer Zombies Warm Springs is on my list to try this visit, and I'll likely get over to Pub 365 (their 3/$12 Happy Hour deal is a cheap meal option). I'll post here any takeaways.
We were going to Pub 365 last night before the gig but ended up a taco spot . They had Able Baker. Good enough.
Whenever I'm in Vegas its for work-related so my time to venture is in short supply. Last year I made the Silver Stamp anniversary event and hung in the Arts District. Pub 365 is just an easy option from the strip that posts their taplist and lets me get my fill of local stuff without needing an Uber or a overpriced bar tab.
Really cool they were able to bring their OG spot back. They still have Black Tuesday on tap. https://untappd.com/v/beer-zombies-warm-springs/2547890 The two additional places I like in that area is Taps & Barrels. I usually don't like pour your own places, but they have a great selection, and HH helps with the higher prices. They also had a great deal with the Nevada Passport if you're able to pick that up before visiting. https://untappd.com/v/taps-and-barrels/11805925 So glad to have finally gotten to 595 Craft and Kitchen last trip, would say it is now my new #2 beer bar in the Valley behind Silver Stamp. Pliny the Younger will tap 2/10/26 this year, and likely also at Silver Stamp. https://595craftandkitchen.com/tap-list Wasn't a big fan of Evolve, or Evolve taking over a good number of taps at Aces and Ales, the owners of which own both. Vegas!
I don't see any mention of when the Silver Stamp's anniversary party is (hopefully it's the 21st), but I'm gonna roll down there a hair early just in case. Last year we showed up before they were even supposed to open and there were a shitload of people there that looked like they'd been drinking for a while. Depending on how wild things are, might hit up Modest and the new Bad Beat location while I'm down there. Modest seems to be fairly active on their socials, but they don't offer a ton of details on what they're actually pouring or focusing on.
I was at the event last year and it was packed inside. I ended up under the tents and even that filled up. Cantillon and other gems on draft will do that.
My friend looked at anniversary party and I can’t remember the day exactly, age & beer related. But the 21st sounds about right or there bouts. But it is happening. Wish I could be here for that.
That's the weekend it was last year, so I'm crossing my fingers. Then again, I've never been there when their normal tap list didn't feel custom designed for my tastes anyway. Still, the idea of having a Fou Foune tap side-by-side with Andechs Doppelbock, Taras Boulba, and Schlenkerla Fastenbier = absurd. Those are literally 4 of my favorite beers in the entire world.
