Awesomely, thank you so much for the helpful info. We’re going to head over to the industrial park area regardless since Austin Street is dog friendly inside, so if we’d can add Allagash to the trip, that would be awesome.

Just as @meefmoff reported, the enclosed heated patio was open and very dog friendly. There were a fair amount of people (and about 5 other dogs) there, but we got a seat near the back and it never felt crowded. Great spot and amazing deals on some awesome beers, including 6 oz pours of Coolship Red for $4! (what's that, an $11 beer in most Boston bars?). After three rounds at Allagash, we stopped at Austin Street on the way out, small spot but very good beers and the only spot at Industrial Way that is dog friendly indoors as well as on the patio. Can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer.

Glad things were still as described. And yeah, especially if you're coming up from the Boston area the prices there are just bonkers.

That and Allagash doesn't rely on tips for their staff. Tipping is only allowed as a donation to charity. All their staff are really helpful and nice so it seems like Allagash actually pays a decent wage which is refreshing these days given news of others breweries...

what's crazy is that 2 6oz pours cost $8, but a bottle of Red goes for $17. Just one more reason why Allagash is one of the best in the business.

Headed up for CS: Balaton as well. 8 years since they put this out.

Anyone know bottle price? I can't seem to find it listed. Assuming its $17 (coolship Red, and clermont were both 17 a month of so ago)

I have to say the combination of distro Little Sal and an accurate beer finder on their site is next level. Was able to find 2 bottles easily and at the brewery price.

last time we asked the pricing model is this:
$15 for small bottles that see distro
$16 for taproom exclusives non coolship
    $17 for coolship
all for their 375 corked and cage series.

This is awesome - looks like it's a one bottle limit, or could "grab a bottle" actually mean grab a bottle, or several...if it's a more than one per person limit?

Description is lacking in marketing 101: “Hazy” = it will last, and can probably grab as much as you want

it was 2 per, still there today and still pouring. Being able to get a glass equivalent to a full pour for $7 meant we walked away with 4 bottles having drunk 4 bottles worth too. An exceptional beer and at 6.3% noyt overly boozy.

Will be in town in May and we're thinking about Grand Cru Tour. Anyone here taken it?

Also, we will be staying downtown and I'm wondering what is the best way to get out to Industrial Way? I will have a car, but if we're doing the tour and hitting up a couple of the other spots, I was wondering if there's a better option.

    Thanks.

Ignorant question - is this likely to have a lot of Belgian yeast flavor or is it meant to be "cleaner" like a pilsner/helles sort of thing? I don't know whether Belgium has a traditional version of the latter (besides whatever macro sells a lot there - Jever?).

One of my all time favorite events. Such a relaxing experience with stellar beer.
