Cuvée d’Industrial is from of a blend of select barrels from our wild beer cellar. The barrels chosen for this blend were picked based on the specific unique characteristics that each brought to the party. They varied in age from 1-5 years and were a mix of American and French oak barrels. Aromas of tropical fruit, vanilla, and anise lead into malty oak flavors and a clean tart finish.
Bottles go on sale Monday, June 29th here the brewery. We’ll begin shipping to all our distribution after that.

First off, great job on all the delicious brews I enjoy from Allagash every year. One of the few breweries my wife and I love equally. Secondly, this BETTER be distro'd to VA (specifically Hampton Roads), as I do not wish to drive very far to find it (although I will). Keep up the good work. Can't wait to try this latest, and surely delicious, beer.

Allagash barrel aged wild ale sours are probably my favorite I've had so far. This one sounds right on par with the past great ones I've had and loved.

Interesting thing I learned on the Allagash tour --befor their sours, they open their windows and let random yeasts from the industrial air in. Guess this is the amalgamation of all that. Prolly why they named it as such. Sours are cool to learn about haha.

its called spontaneous fermentation in the coolship and is an old way of brewing in belgium. Only really works in the fall/winter months when the temperature drops enough. Theres only a handful of breweries in the US that have a coolship (bluejacket, russian river, allagash -- i know im forgetting like two more).

I've got it waiting for me when I get home tonight. I'll report back, but first couple of the reviews I've seen seem awesome.

I'm about 2 hours west of Boston, so I can't say. It has dropped in the Western MA area, however. Picked mine up at Cooper's Corner in Northampton
