I got a call from my store that this hit the shelves today. It sounds very interesting. Here is what was written on their Facebook page: Bottles of Fluxus 2013 just arrived in the Retail Store! Brewed differently every year to commemorate our anniversary, this year's Fluxus is a porter brewed with a blend of 2-row, coffee and chocolate malts with blood orange pulp and zest. It was hopped using Perle, Tettnang and Glacier varieties. It was then fermented with a Belgian Abbey yeast. Congrats to Allagash brewer Patrick Saville for creating this year's Fluxus! Did anyone grab a bottle recently? PS - Can a mod correct the spelling in the title? Thanks!
I bought the last one and it was not very good, and was close to $20. Won't be making that mistake again. At $20 for a cork and cage, it needs to be really good. It should never be something you have to work to finish.
Very much enjoyed the taster of this I had at the Allagash tasting room a couple weeks ago, but the Fluxus beers are priced just a bit too high for me for what they are.
Had on tap last night and thought it was really good, but like many people have said not $20s a bottle good.
