Allagash House Beer

The wood case is $20. You dont have to buy that but it goes by the case. $40.

 

This was in August, but when I got my first case, I asked about not buying the box and was told that it was required. May have changed since then I guess.

 

Are you sure about this? I have bought several cases of this beer and am definitely under the impression that the wooden case is required.

 

You know, its been awhile. I think I misinterpreted it in the last 8months. Its much more likely that it is required but you can reuse the same one - bring it back empty and refill it for the cost of beer only. Im very sure something of this nature is how it works. I guess a call to the brewery would settle it easily enough.

 

Yes, you buy it once and then bring it back empty pay $40 and they refill it. Love this beer, one of my favorites!

 

That house beer goes down way to easy.....Jen and I drank the hell out that stuff.....

 

The beer is great and the crate has many uses.

 

Going to allagash next week. What do they have in bottles right now that I can get

 

Golden Brett, Coolship Red, Interlude and all their year rounders. Chances of Coolship and GB lasting til next week might be slim though.
