Anyone have an idea of current offerings available at the allagash factory retail store? I'm interested in bottles generally not available in regular bottle shops.
    Thanks

There really isn't such a thing. They do their super limited releases (such as coolships) from time to time, but they're typically 'news' and they go very quick. Otherwise they just stock whatever is available in stores.

Last I knew Old HLT was still available for purchase in the retail store.

Oh how I wish I lived nearby. Smith's in Springfield, MA had it on tap a few days ago. Amazing stuff.

They have been known to drop some Researgum's off and on sportatically lately too. You could call them, they usually dont mind too much.

Bought some Old HLT (4-bottle limit) on a Monday morning, about 2 weeks after the release. Various blends of Resurgams have popped up as well. Give them a call to see what's there, ans ask what the bottle limit is just in case.

Why is Old HLT sitting around so long? Are the locals just tiring out on the whole limited release thing?

Cause they made a lot more than usual for a brewery release.

    This.

Old HLT was aged in the brewery's old hot liquor tank (hence the name, HLT) for two years, so I'm assuming they had at least 80BBL of this beer, which translates to at least 1000 cases. And it wasn't aged in barrels, so who really wants to buy it anyway?
