Trying to land Allagash Avance first and foremost and wouldn't mind a Lil Sal as well. What have those been trading for? I have put out some ba mex cake along with other offers with little response. Any idea what a avance or avance/lil sal trade would trade for? Any bottle count info would help as well. Thanks in advance.
Allagash sours usually run about $15 and they are those 12oz+ corked and caged. 350ml? Not sure how much BA Mex Cake cost. I would think your trade sounds more than accurate. Is BA Mex cake a store shelf beer? Their sours range from brewery only to distro and I would say never impossible to get for someone in Portland.
Ba cakes are far from shelf beers and $30 ea. The 2 allagash sours are 15 ea. Im assuming the reason why i havent had many responses is that the bottle counts on lil sal and avance must have been low. I thought this should have gotten done quickly.
Bottle count on Little Sal was indeed very low, like 400 or so I believe. Fwiw, I've heard it really isn't as good as some of their other sours, and not worth what it takes to pull. Had Avance a few years back, and while good, I would go after the Coolships with the BA Cakes, before I'd go after Avance. That said, I feel you're offer is very strong.
BA Cake for those 2 sours should get done, probably just not that many people who still have Sal kicking around.
