It's a re-release of the existing bottles of Old HLT. So, cherries.

    No.

(longer answer: been to every one of these, never seen it happen, it is discouraged, their parking lot is small, there's no space, and although they can't control what you do along the side of the road in the industrial park, public drinking is illegal in Portland.)

Two per person total hardly makes it worth the drive now.....

Thought I should clarify one more point - just confirmed with Allagash via FB, the Ghoulship, Old HLT and Vrienden are cellared bottles from the original releases, not new batches. This presumably means a very small amount of each (= tighter bottle limits), and relates to the price increase vs. the original releases. Gotta pay rent for that warehouse across the street.

Sadly I will miss this event, but 11 days in the Pacific Northwest should be a reasonable alternative.

Old HLT with age on it is sublime. but I've never tasted Vrienden. Had the Ghoulship recently too, great but Old HLT was better in my opinion.

Yep, have to skip this one with those sort of limits. Luckily my frequent trips to Portland and a local friend have kept me up to date on tasting the small batch series, so feeling fine about leaving it to the locals and whomever else makes the trip. Enjoy!

Sounds like its time to ask the mule....errr gf if she wants to try some sours, on second thought she might like them and want to keep her own 2 bottles. Event sounds like a good time though, I've never had any of those listed so would love to get 1 of each but oh well!

Vrienden and Ghoulschip for me please. Cant wait, looks like they are going to have other festivities too, like when Old HLT came out. Cant wait.

I was planning on driving up but the two bottle limit total is a no go for me. I don't think I could convince one friends in Portland to go that early in the morning on a Sunday either. They are usually my mules for this sort of thing.

The event is on a Saturday, not a Sunday. Does that make it better?

Friend picked up the last Cascade, they are also having a 20% everything craft beer sale there since they are moving. Picked up Red Poppy for $13.50

    Sorry for being off topic!

I have an extra Allagash FV13 if anyone in the Boston area is looking for one and want to setup an in person trade.

Apparently Single Barrel One is now only 1 per customer, per FB.
