Interesting. I would be curious to see how well their price point works in MI. After the initial excitement wore off, Prairie bottles seem to sit on shelves as well as the recent introduction of Cascade to the west side of the state.
I'm glad they started distributing to WI in the last year or so. Not something I buy all of the time, as they are a little spendy, but nowhere near Cascades price point. Their dry-hopped sours (Mosaic, Citra, Azzaca, etc.) are stellar. A nice little treat, occasionally.
I think the Citra Sour (Last one I picked up) was around $10/$11 for the 375. Not a great deal, but worth the occasional spend, in my opinion. They definitely don't fly off the shelves at that price, though.
That was my point, even the $10/500ml bottles from Prairie sit around at most bottle shops. And (lol) Cascade sets a new level of pricing with their $27-$30 750ml's.
This if OT, but I also saw Drai Laag sitting on a shelf in Detroit recently. There's too much good beer to go around!
