Almanac Dark Sour Pumpkin

It's been released. I've seen multiple pictures of people drinking it on Facebook. All I can find in stores is citrus & cerise

 

Its supposed to hit OC liquor stores this Thurs/fri.

 

Going to be available to me at a local store today or tomorrow.

 

Suppose to be arriving at Plaza in Mira Mesa tomorrow.

 

it's been hitting OC stores today - like right now

 

Just hit Fresno today.

 

Picked some up from Plaza about an hour ago. Still some bottles left.

 

San luis obispo area got some today

 

Holiday Wine Cellar got some today.

 

Anyone try it yet?

 

Cracked one last night. Solid dark sour. Typical plenty of lacto, no vinegar. However, I'm not tasting much pumpkin. Kind of a bummer after they knocked it out of the park last year with the pumpkin barley wine.

 

The last few sours from them have been lacking in the fruit aspect honestly.

 

They're releasing the Heirloom Pumpkin Barleywine again this year so you can get your pumpkin kick with that one.

 

Gotta get that pumpkin kick with Rumpkin...Mmmmm.....

But really that is upset to hear that you cannot taste the pumpkin in this. I have a couple bottles but not yet cracked one open..perhaps tonight, or maybe early tomorrow when I don't end up winning the trip to Belgium EAH is drawing for.

 

Rumpkin and Dark Sour Pumpkin Cuvee. Delicious.

 

Are people expecting to taste pumpkin or pumpkin pie? BEcause the two things don't taste anything close to similar.

 

I expect it to taste like pumpkin with sour notes.

 

Whole Foods Fashion Island still has it on the shelf.

 

Ironically drinking one now and don't taste pumpkin ad much as spices relevant to pumpkin pie. I like it but no where near as much as a few of their other sours.
