as far as I know, they're about $12 ea. I don't know about bottle counts. everyone I've talked to in CA says #3 is easier to get in quantity than #4.
$10 at whole foods and city beer, $12-13 at most other liquor stores around me. I got 3 cases of each to send out to people, averaged out to $11/bottle ($12 with tax included. I was muling, don't add tax if its a trade). Don't know bottle count but 4 is/was harder to find in quantity, however 3 seemed to be a lot more popular so sold out faster. At least in my area
I've seen them (#1,2,3 and BN) at three different places here in the Sacramento area and both times they were $9.99 .
I think these have gone for some limited off the shelf stuff. I have traded mine $4$ but they where for Boneyard and HF growlers so Im not sure if my answer helps.
When there was no buzz I was including them as extras or trading them for locals. Now that they're selling out and require a little bit of work to track down, I'm expecting limited regionals.
#2 is one of the most balanced beers that I think that I ever had. I have had it on tap and in the bottle and each drink takes a moment to savor.
2 tastes like a hill farmstead beer to me. i think the flavor profile and quality are in line with what i expect from hill farmstead. the others are good but 2 is spectacular. barrel noir is quite good too everyone : )
Yeah. I like the Farmers' Reserve beers as much as I was disappointed by their early 750s. That's a pretty big endorsement.
Their 750's were a disgrace. I really thought they were doomed when I tried them. They were extremely mediocre, and expensive. I was extremely surprised by they Farmers Reserve quality and price, so I am a fan now.
I was hesitant to even try the Farmer's reserve after the 750's and their Biere de Chocolate and Honey Saison. But they completely blew me away.
