I've brewed 2 extract batches and am ready to move on to All-Grain. I purchased an HLT, Mash Tun, Sparge Arm, etc. and am ready to go. My wife wants me to brew an Almond flavored Stout. Does anyone have a recipe? I've searched online extensively and couldn't find one. Would you just pick a Stout Recipe and add Almond Extract? If so, how much? When? Thanks in advance!!

I would probably crush the almonds and add them to the mash. But for a first all grain batch, where you'll (presumably) be dialing in your system parameters and baselining your mash efficiency, I wouldn't recommend messing with that. This is one of the few instances where I would recommend adding extract at bottling, if you can find a good extract.
