Did you ever order the beer, or was it just on the menu? My friends and I tried many times to order one, and we were always told they had them, but not on site, so come back and try again next time, and maybe they'll have restocked it.

i had this about 2 years ago with some other nerd on here, he knows who he is if he reads this. very good stuff. i never had it fresh but goddamn did it age well.

 

I bought a bottle twice, and it was maybe $55. Once was after DLD 2011 and the other just a few months prior to that.

 

I admit to nothing.

Yeah what is the story with Twisted Spoke? I saw it listed on Beer Menus as recently as a few weeks go, looks like it is gone again. I've also seen them list Dark Lords there.

I was able to try this last year at DLD. If you are out there, thanks to the guy that shared! I've had a bottle sitting in my cellar. I think I'm going to bring mine to DLD this year to share in line.

 

I stand corrected. Three bottles I do not have (apparently I should add that I am aware of).

 

Plan on cracking one this weekend for a friends birthday. I'll make sure and report back on how it's holding up.

I've got a Fantabulous Resplendence XI I was thinking on taking to DLD...probably tastes like wine by now. That and the FFF poppa skull.

 

Wasn't XI an IPA? X was the strong ale. I'd be curious to see hear how the 7% IPA held up for 5 years.

I tried my hardest to trade mine away last year....i thought it would go in a flash, but since it was made long before the hype started, i had it on the trade block for almost a year.... Finally got a ddg for it thanks to a great trading buddy

 

What does it take to land a bottle now trade wise. This is one I'm missing for my 3Floyds bottle collection.

 

Swapped a Murda'd Out Stout for the last one I picked up (as a surprise for Chris ^^ up there).
