I searched the forums for this topic, cuz I'm sure it's already been covered, but does anyone know why Alpine halted production for several months? I just purchased a two-week-old 6er of Pure Hopiness at Total Wine Brea. They have tons of the stuff in the cold room.
Pretty sure production never halted...like almost ever. They are getting additional hop contracts starting in 2018, but a few beers are likely just not being brewed in as big of batches right now.
Ahh, gotcha. I remember seeing something on another BA thread months back about Alpine halting production. This is how rumors get started, I suppose. My bad.
Yeah, and it was seen as negative although some stuff was just being stopped (not the core Alpine since that is brewed at GF) but some of the one-offs like Bad Boy, KI, etc...so that they could move in new equipment.
Supposedly a new contract for high quality Nelson Sauvin has been inked, maybe a surprise return of OG Nelson ? Cheers,
